We had only a short time in Saigon after our epic 4 month trip through Laos. We also felt extremely tired from the fast pace of travel we did through Laos, so when we arrived in Saigon we didn’t do a whole lot. Mainly, we walked around the town, ate some great food with our friend Jodi from Legal Nomads and visited a couple of the compulsory tourist sites such as the big church and the Cu Chi Tunnels.
All in all, we can firmly say that Saigon is a city that we enjoyed and would love to experience more fully in the future. The narrow alleyways leading to hidden treasures were a favourite and we look forward to our next visit, whenever that might be.
