Around about a month after it opened, towards the end of July 2011, I went on the Yamaha Racing Coaster at Trans Studio Bandung which is located in the Bandung Super Mall. What an awesome experience!
Basically, you pay your Rp150,000 to enter the Trans Studio Bandung which entitles you to ride everything for free for the rest of the day. So I chose to focus on the Yamaha Racing Coaster because 1) It looks the best and 2) I wanted to get a video from the front seat!
So I managed to get a seat at the front of the Yamaha Racing Coaster through sheer luck. I’m not even sure how it happened. Anyway, in order to get the video, I had to be sneaky. So I took a keychain cam! Yes, it’s a camera built into a keyring/keychain! Yes!
The roller coaster is bloody fast and I had to hold the camera with both hands to make it as steady as possible, but even then the video turned out shaky. I essentially rode the thing without holding on and I’ve got to say that it was an exhilarating experience!
