We start the first of our culinary reviews with a writeup about a funky, modern eatery called Giggle Box Bandung, in the heart of the trendy eating district, Jalan Progo.
Giggle Box (otherwise known as Gigglebox) is the type of place you go to if you want a quick bite to eat, to nongkrong with friends, surf the incredibly fast 5mbit internet or… waste time like I often do just sitting around doing nothing!
What makes this place great is that it has simple Western and Indonesian food in a clean, well-designed setting at prices that are difficult to beat. The ever-popular chicken schnitzel, misalnya, is only 18rb! A bargain if I ever saw one.
